HOW TO BET BASKETBALL
Basketball betting is similar to football betting. Input the number of the team you wish to bet and the amount of the wager. The payout is usually figured at odds of 11 to win 10. For example, a wager of $11 would win $10 for a total payout of $21. The team you select must cover the point spread.
TEAM LINE TOTAL Celtics 218 Lakers -4 1/2 In this example, the Lakers are favored by 4 ½ points. The Lakers must win by 5 or more not less than 5 points to be counted as a winner for betting purposes. The Celtics need not necessarily win the game outright. If the Celtics lose by 4 points or less, they would cover the spread. The payout is usually figured at odds of $11 to win $10 for a return of $21.
The “218” in this example is OVER/UNDER. You may bet that the final score of the game will go over or under thedesignated total for the game of 218. If the combined score of both teams is exactly 218, the bet is refunded. As in football, the odds are 11 to win10, regardless of which side you bet. Overtime counts in all Total wagers.

BASKETBALL TEASERS
In a basketball parlay, one has the option of “teasing” the point spread up or down a specified number of points. In other words, you may modify the point spread by adding points to an underdog and/or subtracting points from a favorite. We offer 4, 4 ½, and 5-point Basketball teasers. Teaser odds are as follows:
College and Pro Basketball Teasers 4 Points 4 ½ Points 5 Points 2 teams 10 to 11 10 to 12 10 to 13 3 teams 9 to 5 8 to 5 3 to 2 4 teams 3 to 1 5 to 2 2 to 1 5 teams 9 to 2 4 to 1 7 to 2 6 teams 7 to 1 6 to 1 5 to 1 7 teams 9 to 1 8 to 1 7 to 1 8 teams 10 to 1 9 to 1 8 to 1 In case of tie or no action on a two-team teaser, wager is refunded, Otherwise tie or no action reduce teaser to next lowest number of teams.

BASKETBALL PARLAYS
Basketball and Football parlay rules and payouts are the same. You may combine 2 to 8 teams into one parlay wager. All teams and totals in a parlay must win, i.e. cover the point spread. The payoffs are as follows:
2 teams 13 to 5 3 teams 6 to 1 4 teams 11 to 1 5 teams 22 to 1 6 teams 44 to 1 7 teams 88 to 1 8 teams 175 to 1 NOTE: Any game or total resulting in a “push” or tie vs. the point spread, reduces the parlay one notch. For example, a 5-team parlay with 4 winners and 1 “push” becomes a 4-team parlay. A 2-team parlay with 1 winner and 1 “push” is considered a straight bet.
